Privacy Policy

General

The use of our website is possible without providing personal data.

For the use of individual services on our website, different regulations may apply, which are explained separately below. Insofar as personal data (e.g., salutation, name, address, email address, telephone number, etc.) is collected on our pages, this is always done on a voluntary basis, where possible. This data is treated confidentially by us and only in accordance with the provisions of German data protection law. The following regulations inform you about the type, scope, and purpose of the collection, processing, and use of personal data. This privacy policy only applies to our websites. If you are redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data. Data is considered personal if it can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person.

The legal bases for data protection can currently be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

We point out that internet-based data transmission has security vulnerabilities, making complete protection against third-party access impossible.

Inventory Data

Your personal data, insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content design, or modification of the contractual relationship (inventory data), will be used exclusively for contract processing. For example, your name and address must be passed on to the goods supplier for the delivery of goods.
Without your explicit consent or a legal basis, your personal data will not be passed on to third parties outside of contract processing. After complete contract processing, your data will be blocked for further use. After the expiry of tax and commercial law regulations, this data will be deleted, unless you have expressly consented to further use.

Contact Options

On our website, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via email and/or a contact form. In this case, the information provided by the user, including the contact details provided therein, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing their contact and for any follow-up questions. Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent. Your data will be deleted after your request has been fully processed, provided you wish this and no legal retention obligations prevent deletion. Data will not be passed on to third parties without the user’s explicit consent. A comparison of the data collected in this way with data that may be collected by other components of our website also does not take place.

SSL Encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the website operator, this website uses SSL encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser’s address bar changes from “http://” to “https://” and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.

If SSL encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Information about Cookies

Our website partly uses so-called cookies to recognize repeated use of our offer by the same user/internet connection owner. Cookies are small text files that your internet browser stores and saves on your computer. They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, effective, and secure.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies.” They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. These cookies provide information (IP address) and thus enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit and to provide you with easier access to our website.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of this website.

Server Data

For technical reasons, our webspace provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us, such as:

Browser type and version
Operating system used
Website from which you visit us (Referrer URL)
Website you visit
Date and time of your access
Amount of data transferred
Hostname of the accessing computer (your Internet Protocol (IP) address)

This anonymous data is stored separately from any personal data you may have provided and thus does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about a specific person. This data is not merged with other data sources. It may be evaluated for statistical purposes to optimize our website and our offers. The legal basis for this data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR.

We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of concrete indications of unlawful use.

Social Plugins from Facebook

We use social plugins from facebook.com, operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. The plugins are recognizable by the Facebook logo or the addition “Facebook Social Plugin”. If you click the “Like” button or leave a comment, for example, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. Furthermore, Facebook makes your preferences public to your Facebook friends. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can directly assign your visit to our page to your Facebook account. Even if you are not logged in or do not even have a Facebook account, your browser transmits information (e.g., which website you have accessed, your IP address), which is stored by Facebook. For details on how Facebook handles your personal data and your rights in this regard, please refer to Facebook’s data protection notices: http://www.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not want Facebook to assign the data collected about you via our websites to your Facebook account, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our websites.

Use of YouTube Plugins

Our website uses plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. The YouTube server is informed which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to directly assign your surfing behavior to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at “www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy”.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by users is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offer by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online offer, and to provide us with other services related to the use of this online offer and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with activated IP anonymization. This means that the IP address of users is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by the user’s browser will not be merged with other Google data.

Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly. Users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to their use of the online offer, as well as Google’s processing of this data, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

Further information on data use for advertising purposes by Google, settings, and objection options can be found on Google’s websites: www.google.com/intl/de/policies/privacy/partners (“How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services”), http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads (“How Google uses cookies in advertising”), http://www.google.de/settings/ads (“Control the information Google uses to show you ads”) and http://www.google.com/ads/preferences (“Manage your ad settings”).

Google Maps

On our website, we use the “Google Maps” component from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, hereinafter referred to as “Google”.

Each time the “Google Maps” component is accessed, Google sets a cookie to process user settings and data when displaying the page on which the “Google Maps” component is integrated. This cookie is usually not deleted by closing the browser but expires after a certain period, unless you delete it manually beforehand.

If you do not agree with this processing of your data, it is possible to deactivate the “Google Maps” service and thus prevent the transfer of data to Google. To do this, you must deactivate the Java-Script function in your browser. However, we point out that in this case, you will not be able to use “Google Maps” or only to a limited extent.

The use of “Google Maps” and the information obtained via “Google Maps” is subject to Google’s Terms of Use http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/terms/regional.html and the additional terms and conditions for “Google Maps”: www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.
